Arris WBM760 Questions

So i was upgraded to the blast pakage and my net got slower was getting over 30 not im lucky to hit 25

also this is my average speed test i want his fixed b4 comcast rolls out the free upgrades to the speeds in my area.

Shaperprobe shows what looks like to be a 20/2 config file in your modem. That's what Blast is in some areas. Call in to question / confirm.

 

It can be 16/2, 20/2, 20/4, 25/4 depending on the market.

in my market i was told it should be 30/4 and even if its the 25/4 there upping it to 50/4 soon and i have trouble getting to 22 most days testing from there servers

This is what they say on there page for net in my area and they have an ad on local radio saying that there going to double there top 2 tiers od service free so my tier will become 50/6 and the tier above me 105/x

Ya' see the "with Powerboost" marketing wizardry there ! :smileywink:

 

Forget about those other Flash and Java based type of speed testing sites. They are notoriously inaccurate and unreliable..
