Is any one else having the same problem that I am having, with constant disconnects from comcast while you are trying to surf?

Please give us more information:
1) Please connect your computer directly to the modem via Ethernet ( no router, no wireless, no USB ) 2) Run ShaperProbe and post your results. (It works with Win 7)
3) Post your upstream and downstream signal levels (click the link.) We are interested in your power levels (dBmV) and your Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).
4) Let us know to what speed tier you subscribe.
5) Post the make a model of your modem.
6) Post your modem's error logs.
Connection and trouble shooting tips (How to check signal levels.) . Info you should post to get help.

I am having constant disconnects too while browsing and more irritatingly during online gaming.
I have the 20mb package and live in zip code 81004
Also when I did a speed test it was running at 7mb rather than anything close to 20mb.

I'm having trouble like this as well. My speed tests come out fine, but the service drops (particularly when I am in any sort of video chat).
I have the performance (20mb) package, and a Cisco DPC3008 modem that we rent from them. I'm plugged directly into the modem.

seems to be a trending topic around these parts lately.......hope it gets fixed soon........or maybe I dont, then I will have an excuse to give the wife to switch to fiber LOL

Yep, I'm having the same problem you are. My modem resets itself every 10-20 minutes or so when playing online games. This never happened before last Thursday when I turned in my old Motorola Surfboard modem for the Cisco DPC3008 modem.
Here are my signal levels and data: (is this normal?) I don't have the SNR data yet and I also didn't find any error logs. Thanks for any help.
