I have connectivity issues on the order of every few hours. Sometimes it forces my modem to auto-restart; sometimes it requires a manual reboot. I've checked out my modem log. I see errors every 2 days: "Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received." I also get daily errors: "DHCP FAILED - Requested Info not supported." Can someone help?

What does the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

Downstream power: -0.8 dBmV
Upstream power: 29.0 dBmV
SNR: 35.0 dB

The upstream/return power is quite low. It could be a hardware issue/failing modem or something in the lines/system. If it is in the line then you really can't fix it and a tech visit would be necessary.

That upstream power level is unusually low. It's hard to tell if your modem is just reporting something weird because it's bad or if Comcast has a signal issue. Unfortunatly, there isn't much more you can do on your own. Like EG said, you're gonna' need a tech.
