Basic Internet Connectivity And Modem Help

I've read that Comcast will be rolling out IPv6 first in locations that have Arris CMTS, and later in areas that use Cisco CMTS, but I don't know what I have here in Portland. I've tried getting a v6 address to no avail, so I was just wondering when I should be trying again.  Can I expect v6 capabilities in days, weeks or months?  Just was hoping for a ball park.  Thanks!

My best guess is months. It is all contingent on Cisco CMTS software, and we're working very closely with Cisco on this. As you might imagine, CMTS software has to be absolutely reliable so it does not cause service issues, so we're being very methodical and careful. :-)

Hello,  I also live in the Portland, OR area and would very much like to particiate in an IPv6 trial if possible.  I have a Cisco DPC3008 and Cisco e4200 v1 router which should all be IPv6 ready.  Can I send you my MAC address as well?

Some users on this forum dont use the comcast.net email address, so it makes it harder for me to find them.  So I ask for there cable modem MAC address or Public IPv4 address so I can find them in the system.
