You seem to have a better understanding of this problem than most. Something that may help your teroubleshooting... I noticed all day yesterday that my computer was acting very strange! I was in facebook most of the day with about 8 tabs open on average. I noticed ( ALL Day ) that when looking at the tab title, EVERY tab title included that little ~ ferris wheel icon - like it was in the process of loading???? On every TAB? I also observed that on each tab therfe were some parts of the page that would work but it seemeed that any part that needed to open another page would hang up. For instance, when I was on a casino page and I could spin the slot and get a resuilt but if I clicked on the buy more coins link ... it would not work properly ... it looked like it did ... i even entered my phone number when requested, but I would never get the coins or the confermation email?? Other pages behaved similarly.
