I have a legal and valid reason to change my ip. I was terminated from use of a gaming website for unknown reason. I tried contacting the administrator of the website and haven't been given a response back. I did nothing wrong; If anything I did everything right. I donated over $300.00 towards this website, helped report people who were doing wrong, and even donated for other users of this website.
Is it possible to change my ip? I tried switching the mac address and get an error stating "I don't have internet access" and it doesn't come back untill I switch the mac address back to default. I tried restarting the modem and router for 3 minutes and plugging back in; Didn't work I had the same exact Ip.
Why do I need to use this website? It's used for a lot of game for currency trades. Without it I'm hopeless when it comes to trading in certain video games ![]()

Are you cloning the Mac address on your router.
When I clone the Mac address I lost internet.
I tried dhcp reservation and added my computer to Clients Already Reserved and I got back internet with a new IP address

it all depend on your router
my settings on DHCP Server Setting on the basic setup tab for a linksys 310n wireless router
if you just change a letter and number it may work better if you choose clone your computer Mac address.

If the modem is an eMTA (telephony) modem with a battery backup you will need to reset it using the recessed reset button on the rear rather than powercycling it by removing it from the A.C power source after cloning a different MAC addy in to the router.

EG, which will result in ip change? It's the big box connected to the telephone.

Try it. Changing the MAC addy that the modem / CC system sees will indeed force a change of ones WAN (public) IP addy but the modem must then be properly reset in or for it to be able to talk to the router and allow internet connectivity.

Glad you got it sorted ! I can only hope that this is legit and that you have not misbehaved / broke the rules on that site and are deliberately circumventing a banning as this would be a violation not only of the forum guidelines here but of my personal ethics as well..
