Could someone please explain why loyal customers ones who have been customers for years getraise hikes? Manycompanies give perks to long time customers, Comcast doesn't seem to, should we who have been customers be able to lock in a rate and new customers be charged a higher rate? Doesn't make sense to treat customers like this.

Same here. I guess it is easier to bill ones who can affort to pay, rather invest strategy to get more clients switch over. But then again, once its reach 100 millions household (clients) will its stop hike the price. You guest !

Individual services, Eg: Only Internet is higher in price then when you 'bundle' more than one service. I believe the $70 charge is the normal price for just Internet.

My Bill has also gone up $20 this month. I called and asked why, customer service rep told me that a 6 month promotion ended, they urge customers to call the month before it ends and ask if another promotion is available...
I WAS NOT TOLD BY ANYONE OR URGED TO DO SUCH A THING, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?!
Being a loyal on time paying customer seems to mean nothing to Comcast. I have been jerked around, had techs show up on the wrong day, have had no on demand for almost 4 monthes. I called, emailed, and got no response. Very unhappy and Comcast does not seem to care.

The promotional end date should be on your statement ahead of the ending date.

Yeah, me too! Just went over the last 3 statements and no promo end date listed, as it should not be. My promotion started in dec/jan timeframe and is for one year and the bill still went up 20 dollars. Before when I had internet and tv, the bill kept going up until it came in one day over 130 dollars for the same thing since I started. Fooey. I went to the office and cut the cable. I only kept the internet because of the promotion. I was also told that my bill would go up 8 dollars a month for the phone, so I hooked up. I understand that contracts with different cable tv service providers are on a longterm basis and they must be periodically renegotiated, but it is still amazing that both Dish and Directv are soooo much less than comcast for more channels. Somebody better 'fess up about the "need" to raise rates by 20 dollars or my "need" to reduce bills will have to contend with the "want to" your executives have for increased bonuses and perks. See what you have coming in compensation after every one leaves.
