You will need to call 1-800-comcast & ask for the Billing department.

Re: Extension on bill

Generally the service will not be cut off until AFTER the next bill is received.

The bill will have UNPAID BALANCE-Due Now, and the amount.

If you don't pay the bill, you may receive a "disconnect" notice from Comcast, with a pay by date.

Here is where it gets tricky. You would assume that it is ok to wait until as close as possible to the date to pay the bill. However, I was told by a Comcast rep that the pay by date is when the service would be cut off at the pole. (ok, it may not get cut off that day, the notice does say "on or shortly thereafter")

Up until that date, you may get a service interuption-pay your bill and service is restored.

If it's cut off at the pole, you may have to pay a reconnection charge charge in addition to the account balance and the next month's service charges.

Also, keep in mind that a "late charge" fee is tacked on to your next bill.

Comcast employees must be authorized to post in the forum in an official capacity. Employees posting here have their names in red and are designated as employees. Names not in red are customers.

This is done to protect customers and for assurance that they are dealing with a Comcast employee.
Non-Authorized Employees are allowed to post but cannot state they are employees nor can they allude to being employees.

Re: Extension on bill

They cut your service off 45 days after your bill is due, unless you call to make arrangements.
