Is There Any Help?

I have always loved my Comcast Bundle. I have never had any problems that Comcast doesn't fix asap. Customer service is great. I just wish they had lower prices, different bundling options. The way things are going now, we are saving every penny we can. Who knows when this whole economy will blow apart? It is getting harder and harder to pay our large "bundled" price per month. I am sure there are many folks out there who feel the same. Is there some way you can lower your prices, Comcast (Xfinity)??? :smileyshocked:

i AGREE.  I can think of better ways of spending my money.  i just feel that it keeps going up and getting way too expensive.  perhaps I will turn off the cable and buy more movies to watch.

Re: Is There Any Help?

if your not in a promotion and want your bill lowered and have competition in your area, call into comcast immediately ask to be transferred to a retention specialist and tell them your bill is to high and you want it reduced.  You should always be in a promotion if you have competition, paying face value for your cable bill is like paying sticker price for a car, both should never happen.

Re: Is There Any Help?

Well, I called, got the retention specialist. It was confusing and I ended up paying $45.00 less for the same services I get now, but I had to do a two year contract agreement. The price goes up $16 the second year, still lower than I am paying now, but not by much.

Somehow this doesn't make me feel like I got any deal at all. I have 30 days to cancel. I think what I need to do is go over each service seperately to find out what I can do without. Anyway, I am thinking about canceling this tomorrow and going with another company. Bummer, I had high hopes.

Re: Is There Any Help?

you lowered your bill 45 dollars a month, thats great, how much more did you think it was going to go down.   By calling them you lowered your bill almost 500 a year.   If you think that is still to high then you have other options.  Dish has locked in thier pricing with no increases until 2013.   What other services can you get in your area?

I called again this morning. I just don't want to sign a two year contract. The specialist helped me. When I told her how much we pay per month for our bundled services, she was shocked. So, coming down $45 might seem like alot to you, but it wasn't enough, considering how much we pay per month. This specialist was very helpful and got my bundle payment down even more and I don't have to sign a contract. You have to keep trying until you can get the best deal you can, don't just accept the first offer. I am glad I didn't. I was ready to cancel the whole thing because signing that contract just goes against my better judgment!:womanvery-happy:
