November notice for price increase

There is a notice in my November statement for a price increase. I have a two year contract with Comcast with a set price of $99.00 for the bundled service of Digital voice, digital cable, and high speed internet. Why am I recieving a notice of a rate increase? Again, I have a two year contract with comcast at a set price, how is this going to effect me? Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me.

That may be boilerplate that's in everyone's bill. If you have a promotional rate, it shouldn't affect you until the contract period is over. Also, if you decide to cancel your service before the contract is up, I think they retroactively bill you at the standard rate for the time you had the service, and this price increase would affect that charge.

Thanks, iy had my wife quite upset, but I figured any contract would be binding legally on both ends.
