Refund Nightmare

So, I accidentally put my CVV code in the "other amount" field on the online payment form. Yeah, I know, my mistake. And unfortuenaly my CVV code is in the 900s! So I call to see if they can cancel the payment. They tell me no, and that i have to fax my bank statement showing that the transaction has cleared, and then wait 6 weeks to get my refund.

This was on May 3rd, this will be the 8th week and i haven't heard a thing. Everytime i call support the person sounds like they have no clue what they are doing, and can't give me a status on the refund or anything. They can't even tell me if they recieved my fax or not.

Why is this so complicated?
