when your service comes back it will be your responsibility to call comcast and request a credit for the days you were without service you will not get this automatically

HA HA We just got our internet, tv back and called about the credit. They said it was out due to a Natural Disaster and they don't credit for that!!! We have a generator so we had power but they didn't have something working.

Anytime there has been a serious and extended outage due to weather conditions, etc. It has been posted here that once your service is back up and running, THAT is when you call for whatever credit you are entitled to.

We called and went into town to the office in Harrisonburg, Va after service was restored. They said that whenever there was a "natural disaster" and power was out, they did NOT give credit. Even though we had a generator and had power, they do NOT give credit.

There have been cases where Comcast has VOLUNTARILY credited customers for time without service in areas hit by TORNADOES! Hard to see how your situation is fundamentally different.
