I received an e-mail today from customer central stating that they could not bill my comcast account as the credit card information was incorrect. I have never used my credit card to bill my account. I am letting you know about this as other people may have received the same e-mail.

First, the email you received was not from Customer Central or any department of Comcast. What you received was a phish mail.

 

At least you are smart enough to recognize the mail as a fake.

It contains very useful information about mail that purports to be from Comcast.

By the time you get through reading it YOU will be an expert on HOW to know that the mail is a phishing attempt.
