Hello,
This depends a lot on the area you live in. It is best to call 1-800 comcast to find out for sure.

Here's the main page on the 3D information.
http://comcast.com/Corporate/Learn/DigitalCable/3D
You need a 3D capable digital box or DVR (a RNG or DCX box), use HDMI and call Comcast to add the 3D account code on your account to activate the 3D channels.

Good luck - after 1 1/2 hours on line - no help from 1800comcast - whatever country customer service is in - i am in michigan - after 1 1/2 hours they said it is not avaiable in my area - even after tech sent an install code - to my account - comcast is a monopoly and understands they can get away with terrible customer service - guess what i went to on demand 3d and it works - THEY ARE NOT INEPT - JUST STUPID - or just sitting in some 3rd world country that cannot pay for any technology and sit in their homes and laugh at us US Citizens that pay top $$ for nothing - buy comcast stock if you believe in poor support poor service large profits from us stuck consumers - THERE WILL BE A DAY COMING!

another delay tactic- comcats knows well what box you have every month - check your bill - if they cannot ask for a full credit ![]()

In my area in Western MA it is cbale channels 333 and 334 - although most programming is pretty lame - Olympics are on but not during prime time. I think it's all about advertising revenue. That being said it is pretty cool when you have the right setup
