I called Comcast to understand all the charges and services I may want to subscribe to. I asked if they could mail me a rate card or even email me a PDF.
I was told they do not make these available to customers. I find this hard to believe because I know Comcast has to make these avaliable by law.
I looked on comcast.com but there is a very small list of prices and need to know info like additional outlet charges, etc. Who can I go to to get an updated rates for the Boston area?

Best bet is to stop by your local CC office, they have more info & know more than the CSR phone people. The CSR's on the phone only have what the screen shows them.
I get better, friendlier service from my local office, when I am looking for a new channel lineup or other info.

re: stopping by the local office......I really don't have time to drive by the office to pick up something or get information as simple as "what are the line ups for each package and what does each package cost?". The hours the office keeps are extremely problematic to my work schedule. And the last time I HAD to go in there was to return a cable box --- the service was horrid and because it was a Saturday the line was out the door.
Again, this is basic information that needs to be available electronically or on the site somewhere. I shouldn't have to waste the time/gas to swing by the office to pick one up. I would think as a valued customer of Comcast for many many years, paying thousands of dollars.....it would be a bit easier than this!

Maybe you can call the local office and ask them to mail you the card.
Yes, this SHOULD be available online, but it isn't. Do you want to solve your problem or just vent? We don't work for Comcast, we can't fix their systems, all we can do is provide helpful suggestions.

I have experienced the same thing... Comcast does not have any web site with their rates posted anywhere that you can see them.
You have to call each and every time you have a question about the cost of something.
I do not receive a rate sheet in my invoices like some people say they do in some areas of the country.

By us the price sheet, channel lineup and terms and conditions including privacy act comes in the mail one a year, unless there are major changes during the year. The last one was my March 1, 2009 statement.
So don't expect it to be a regular thing. Some people never look at any of the little pamphlets that come in their monthly bills, either electric, gas, phone, cable, bank, credit card, etc etc etc.
