I have just dealt, for over two hours, with Xfinity, trying to get a Channel Lineup for my 73 year old mother. We bought her a new HD TV and now she needs the lineup for the HD Channels.
Evidently, a printed Channel Lineup is TOP SECRET information because no one will give me one.
The 1st agent would not even talk to me because I didn't have her account number! The 2nd agent, after I called my mother for her account number, was going to walk me thru the instructions to print it because they won't mail it out due to it being searchable online!
I WANT A ONE PAGE SHEET! THAT'S ALL!
Doesn't Xfinity realize that they have older people who don't access the Internet!
I just sent an email to Comcast support. We'll see if that gets a response. I would copy mine for her but I live in a different area!

Go here. You'll find a link to print out the lineup in the first paragraph.
Your local office should have a channel line card too.
I have no idea why they couldn't mail you one.
Connection and trouble shooting tips (How to check signal levels.) . Info you should post to get help.

You can go here and put in the address then pick the package and print out the line up? Comcast also sends out channel listings in the bill a few times a year.

The best way I have heard to get a channel lineup is to visit the local Comcast store, as they normally have them available. And being old/retired/living on SS doesn't seem to warant any concern in the Comcast offices at all...

Yup - been on that link several times. Problem is the printout is multiple pages.
And, I live about 15 miles from my mother and her Comcast office. So it is not convenient to go pick one up!
I wonder if they even have the listings anymore. The Rep said they don't provide them because everything is online!

And what happens if you have paperless billing - which I believe is how it is set up since my brother pays for her service?

actually comcast here doesn't even mail out prices anymore let alone a lineup without requesting it.
Also if your brother's address is on the bill then the lineup mailed would be his as "they don't have a central location with the lineups. They can only send the lineup for the billing location and only to that billing location."
I know because they wouldn't send me lineups for different areas from my own.

Lineups and price sheets are still available at local offices. I also just got one in my last bill.
The OP could copy the channel lineup into a word processor and print out the sheets needed.

my problem was that the offices of the lineups I wanted are over an hour away and I tried printing them out and it took 5 pages front and back. Whereas the lineups are only one page.
Would be nice if comcast could email or mail them to us.

I have a feeling that the local office won't mail you channel lineups for other Comcast service market.
But they should be able to mail them to you. Also I don't understand why they can not have PDF copies available for each service area.
It doesn't surprise me that they won't email them.

Betharu,
I have had the same problem with the overseas call centers, they are in X country and have no access to even notifying the local Comcast office about an issue. Here are my suggestions I know you live an hour away but the next time you visit your mother swing by and get the printed channel cards hopefully they have the most current line up and not old cards. What I have done and is a little more intensive and time consuming is I made a template of a channel card using Excel ( or a spreadsheet software application you have) when here is al channel lineup change that is major I update my Excel spreadsheet, Just go to the online Comcast Channel lineup and copy and paste the entire line up that you think your mother is interested in local channels in SD and HD then paste it into Excel and edit out the foreign and public interest channels she also may not be interested in and now you have your own customized channel card and can update future changes. It is a little more work but those are the two options i can offer. Good luck to you.

I'm having the same problem as well. All I want is a quick reference listing of the Channel numbers and associated call letters (ABC, NBC, etc.) I don't want to have to crawl through guide everytime I want ot to go to an infrequently viewed channel. There's got to be one someplace.

Hey, Comcast! Here's a few suggestions for you!
Put the channel lineup on the web! And put the channel numbers there, too! Any provide the list in both channel number order and channel name order! And make this list easy to find! And make it easy to print! And make it print on ONE sheet of paper! And while you're doing all of this, think about hiring people who can think about what customers need!
If you can do this, maybe I'll stay with you rather than reverting back to Uverse, where I didn't need any printed listings because their channels are actually ordered logically!
