Comcast is offering the MLB Extra innings package. Does anyone know, for sure, whether this works if you do not have a Comcast set top box? Thus I do not have OnDemand. I have a TivoHD with cable card. Thats my tuner. Should I be able to get this package of channels 621-6xx? Last year I was told no and that I needed a Comcast box.
I don't have any personal experience with this, but I would think that the TiVo/cablecard would work. I had the ESPN Gameplan last fall, and the extra channels were simply enabled for me, without any On Demand involvement (that was before I got TiVo). So, I don't know for sure.
