New Guide = New Coke

I kept hearing about the "New Guide" and even got two mailings about it, as if the company was about to roll  out a new miracle form of entertainment.  What did we get?  The TV Guide "guide" which has been on my system for years (but never used).

Comcast:  I don't need ANY MORE advertising in my life.  And, since we like to watch our TV programs on one of several "widescreen" settings on our HDTV, when you select the Guide, it spills over the edges and you lose about 15% of the text.  The clunky font make me think you believe every customer sits two feet from the screen and has a vision impairment.

Go back to the old, original Coke.

How do you have your box hooked up to your HDTV? Which cable are you using? Which box do you have?

Re: New Guide = New Coke

Why is that every Comcast "improvement" seems like just another opportunity to foist more ads on their paying customers? Look, CC, sooner or later these accumulated irritations will force me to switch. Ever heard of "the last straw?" You are really coming close.
