We live in northern New Jersey near New York City. The TV guide listing on our television and the program listing on the Comcast website for our zip code (07901) are always in agreement about what is showing on channel 8, which is The Comcast Network's own channel.
However, the programs that are actually shown on Channel 8 never match the TV guide or the Comcast website for our zip code. The programs that are actually shown on our Channel 8 are programs for customers in Philadelphia.
If I enter a Philadelphia zip code (like 19140) into Comcast's website program guide, I can then see what is actually being shown here in northern New Jersey (often Phillies or Flyers games).
Personally, I'm not interested in Philadelphia sports teams, so I would prefer that the programs Comcast claims to be showing on our channel 8 were actually shown here.
But if Comcast wants to show us Philadelphia programming, the channel guide on our TV and on the Comcast website for our zip code should show the Philadelphia programs.
Can someone at Comcast straighten this out? Either show the programs we are supposed to be getting (which I would prefer) or else fix the program listings to display the Philadelphia shows we actually receive.
Thank you
