I have Comcast cable and internet, with both CNBC and MSNBC, but can't get access to the NBC livestreams. When I log in, I get a page saying "
This network is not included in your current XFINITY® TV subscription*."
I get the same problem from different computers on different networks, and on my iPhone when I try to use the NBC Olympics app. I get an error message and instructions to call Comcast when I try on-demand on the TV (I can't even get On demand to play the free instructional videos about the Olympics).
Customer service at Comcast didn't know anything about the Olympics coverage. NBC doesn't seem to have any customer service at all. They just say if it doesn't work you should call your cable company to confirm that CNBC and MSNBC are in your package, and I've done that.
Comcast will eventually send a service person out, but the problem is obviously in Comcast's computers, not in anything at my house, so I'm not optimistic that is going to do any good.

I did read that other thread, which concludes by saying that nobody in the on line forums is likely to be able to help and then refers readers to yet another thread with a completely different problem relating to the login web page itself.
I'm hoping somebody else will have had some experience in figuring out who to call at Comcast about a problem which is obviously in their system, not in my computer, since it affects my TV, computer, and iPhone identically....

All - Most of the issues have have been with individual browser settings or issues with your cable account that can be easily corrected.
If you already have a ticket open, the team will work that and has been fairly quick in most all cases.
If you don't already have a ticket open, please call us at 1-800-COMCAST and start that process with someone who can access your account directly.
At the risk of repeating:
Here are some things that have worked for other customers having trouble getting to the http://www.nbcolympics.com/ online site:
Try to login again.
Digital Starter (or above) is required in order to access the site.

ComcastTed -- you didn't even both to read the message you were responding to. Fortunately the tech who is here now is more thoughtful.
He doesn't think it can be made to work, though, because of the "Comcast bureaucracy," and advises starting over with a new Comcast account.
