Looks like Spain's La Liga soccer will only be shown on beIN SPORTS USA channels. This past season's games were on GOLTV and ESPN Desportes.  

Is there any possibility that the new beIN SPORTS channels will be viewable on Comcast???? PLEASE???

Took so long to get Fox Soccer in HD...can't imagine how long it'll take to get these channels at all, especially since they're owned by Al Jazeera

Time to go with Bein Sports 1 AND 2.  I suspect Bein Sports 2 will show up in the Spanish package way before the English version.  I would like both, but we have to press Comcast, these people don't move on their own...

I called Comcast in late May, as soon as the word got out that BEiN won the rights to La Liga.  This is really important to me and the only reason I purchased the Sports Package from Comcast.  I heard back from them and my contact said he would run my request up the corporate chain.  The question becomes why have GOLTV if they don't have La Liga and the Bundesliga?  Swap it out for BEin.  If not, I will have to switch to a carrier who carries the La Liga games.

Not only has GolTV lost those two, they also lost the Europa League.  In other words it officially has nothing worth watching.  If Comcast had any actual concern for their customers, they would replace GotTV with Bein Sports 1 & 2. 

The only reason I got the Latino package was to watch La Liga, if Comcast doesn't at least bring Bein Sports 2 to the Spanish listing, then I'll have to do business with someone else.  I don't know if Comcast understand that this "little issue" kind of matters....

I agree.. I like my tv/internet service from comcast, but La Liga is very important to me and I will need to look elsewhere if Comcast doesn't carry a channel that shows it.

It took them over 2 years to add Fox soccer in HD. COMCAST sucks. I don't expect to see this channel in  Baltimore city anytime soon. But I would me super happy to be surprised, for once. And that would help me to stay with comcast, of course. 

COMCAST, any official word from you? Do you actually care for your customers? This is a good time to show that. Thanks.

Mchiab, at least you finally got it in HD. In Grand Rapids, MI, we are still waiting.

BeIN sports sounds like a logical option for Comcast to consider....I guess that means Comcast won't add it.

The problem is that we need numbers.  My guess is that it would be easier to pressuare Comcast to get Bein 2 (in Spanish) for the Latino package.  That's at least in the short term.

The challenge for even that to happen is that most people who want to watch La Liga are under the impression that they are going to be able to see it just like last season.  They have no idea that some radical changes have happened.  You can't protest if you don't know there is stuff to protest about!

My guess is that La Liga will have to start and these people will start hearing results of games and slowly start wondering how come GolTV or ESPN Deportes didn't show those games...  And then they will start digging and realize how incomplete the Comcast Latino package has become...

i just called multipe providers and what i found is that directtv is having Bein sport 1&2 , if comcast isnt going to add those channels , i in addition to several friends are going to switch to direct tv on August 15 th .

please everyone who is a comcast costumer should threaten t do that as well.

We need to offer BeINSport in HD to your Connecticut customers.  Just put a soccer package including FSC and FSC Plus in HD, NBCSports in HD and GolTV in HD and we will buy it.  No delays

I'll add my voice to that.  FoxSoccer may still have the EPL, but La Liga and Serie A are the other major soccer leagues and I might bail on Comcast entirely if I can't get the new channel.

Bein Sports is owned by Al Jazeera. They basically have unlimited money. Which means that Fox chan say good bye to both the premier league and champions league from 2013. End of the story. That's why Comcast should add those channels. FSC and GolTV will become (or already are) useless.

I am a Barcelona, Inter, and PSG supporter who will have no choice but to switch providers in Comcast doesn't add Bein Sport USA. With La Liga moving to Bein Sport there is no need for Comcast to even bother with GolTV, they should just replace it with Bein. I have no problem if this causes my sports package to increase in price or it is offered as a separate premium channel. Just make it available.

Comcast, if you don't care about your soccer fan subscribers and add Bein Sport USA by Aug. 18 when new season kickoff I will definitely leave for DirecTV. I can't miss any of my Barcelona's games. Comcast, you need to understand that if you want to keep customers you must do it now bc once they switch they can't come back. Why are you adding PAC 12 networks??? Us soccer fans don't care about that. We just want to see European soccer.
