I recently purchased a Visio 3d TV with passive 3D technology. I called to activate the 3D channels on my account, but the channels seem to only be for the active 3D technology. Does Comcast only support the active technology sets or do I need to call back for Comcast to change the 3D to the passive one?

Check your TV's 3d settings

Comcast xfinity supports passive technology. Have the Comcast technician fix your cable set up box to do it. I have Comcast 3D on by 55" passive Vizio.
