Im trying to record the mentalist but the good wife is recording with the mentalist on the channel guide. why is this happeing? Can you fix this?

Because of the football game, CBS shows were running 58 minutes late tonight.  If you ever record anything on CBS or Fox on Sunday night during football season, you must add an hour to the recording time to make sure the shows are fully recorded.  This has been happening for many many years during football season on Sundays.
