I have spent hours upon hours on the phone with Comcast representatives trying to get my new account working and in order. I was told I could link my 2 accounts online to 'make things easier', and all that seems to have done was completely limit my ability to use the features of xfinity online and the DVR scheduling features, because it does not detect my account correctly.
I need to unlink my residential TV service from my account and then create a completely separate login for it. Can I please finally get help with this?

Are you seeing orange keys on Xfinitytv.com over videos? If so, are these channels working on your TV?
What is the make and model of your set-top boxes?
Thanks,

I have the Motorola DCT6416 III and the Motorola RNG200N.
When I click the Gear icon in the lower right side and go to Manage Cable Boxes and DVRs, nothing shows up.
I tried to reactivate with the www.comcast.com/activate link and it shows both boxes as Inactive.
The forum info and phone reps seem to suggest this is because I linked my residential account to my existing ID that had my business Internet.

Did you have two separate account numbers? If so, can you please send them both to me in a private message.
Thanks,
Joe

Thank you for your private message.
Both accounts do not seem to be linked but there is a ticket open for this issue already. Our team is working on it now and I will update you if I learn anymore information.
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for helping out with this Joe.
On my end it still shows as linked - it still gives me the dropdown on the my account to switch between accounts, and it won't let me create a new comcast ID for the separate account.
