Today, while working out a billing issue. I needed to access my account info at www.comcast.com. I had not accessed my account info in quite some time so, I could not remeber my account password. That's okay, a convenient password reset is available, so, I reset my account password. Tonight I discover that I cannot get my email. So, 'just because' I tried the password I reset my account to and I got my emails. That's great and I realize what I had done to myself. I had to laugh for a minute.
Then, I realized that I had received an email from online.communications@alerts.comcast.net . This particular email was notifying me that someone (me, in this case) had changed my email password . . . but, wait, if someoneelse (not myself) changes my email password, I can no longer receive my emails.
Raises this question. Should my account information access use the same password as my email account? Comcast policies have 'tied these two seperate entities together. Should not these be seperate and NOT connected?

Just to add, any email you receive that is really from Comcast or Xfinity will always have the Comcast logo to the left of the From field of the email.

This is a known issue with the Remember Me option. See the threads/posts in the Email Forum. So far we have not seen a fix posted by Comcast.
