Bait and switch

We switched over to autobilling this year and made the huge mistake of falling for a bait-and-switch from Comcast . The bait was promotional pricing for Extreme 50 in April of this year, and the switch was -- drumroll -- full price on our bills. Because the statements were on the autopay, we didn't catch the error until last week.

 

The worst part is that we had recently cleaned our files and tossed out the original paperwork. This weekend, the Comcast rep, said that we needed to know the exact details of the promotion then the rep would search the Internet for the promo. Seriously, Comcast, you don't know what promotions you ran in April? 

 

My advice before upgrading any Comcast service is get everything in writing. Then diligently check your bills. Don't trust Comcast to be honest. 

 

I wish I had heeded the advice of Buyer Beware when I purchased this upgrade!
