Business Class not feeling like Business Class:(

[ Edited ]

I called in to tell them I was moving. I gave them my CELL phone. Rep tells me they will give me a call back.

I wait for 3 days and nothing and so I called them back & to my realization they were calling me on the CABLE MODEM phone #.

How smart is this? I moved HELLO!

Finally someone schedules an installation. Installation guy was smart enough to do the same thing and so I wasted another 5 hours standing around not knowing when he'll re-route back.

Finally he comes to my house and does nothing but to let me know I was all ready to go and that I'll have to wait "AGAIN" for the REAL installation guy to show up. He would connect me. "But you're here why don't you just do it?" Grrrr

I was really angry because it's been no service for 5-6 days & I had missed all my very important calls & online errands.

I started asking myself why do they call it BUSINESS CLASS when it's FAR slower then residential on installation, service & speed. I am paying 150 bucks a month for this kind of service? HolySMokes.

Now here's the silly:manvery-happy: part that made me even more ANGRY. BEING really angry and desperate to get my errands done online, I hook up my SMC BOX and PHONE BOX. I figured why not try since COMCAST don't know jack wth they are doing anyways and it may work. So to my amazement my internet and voice phone service worked flawlessly. Full speed as at my old place.

It turns out my new place uses the same AREA HQ so I could've simply used my SMC BOX and VOCIE at the new place.

Why didn't comcast just change my address and tell me this:manmad:????

I have a pending April 30th installation. By GOD do I really need him now? Do I tell him to scram?

Imagine if I did not try plugging in my BOXes.:manmad:

I lost all respect for Comcast business class. So ignorant. They call it business class and here I am waiting for the installation guy. Luckily it works. Luckily I was smart enough to plug it in to try.

Very sad. I am so close to dumping this contract and going for DSL. I know it's slower but with this kind of service, lack of respect & :manlol:ignorance:manlol: is ridiculous.

Top all this with the fact they still owe me 55 bucks when I switched over to Business Class & still haven't paid me back yet. I've called and called and called about this and nothing has ever came of it. Residential sends me to Business Class Rep. BC rep sends me back. It's a circle of I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOUR MONEY WENT.

Man. Dang.

Re: Business Class not feeling like Business Class:(

Be warned your business class contract will auto renew every year.  You need to cancel it three months before if you don't want it to auto renew.  Are you getting business class to avoid the data cap?
