Cable not buried, COMCAST is non-responsive, FIOS looms as an easy choice

About two months ago, my cable was severed.  A Comcast technician came and reconnected my service, but left the cable on the surface of the ground running across my yard.  He said Comcast would call me and send a different team to bury the cable.  Nothing has happened.  I've complained via e-mail to Comcast, and there's been no response.  If something doesn't happen soon, I'll be a new Verizon FIOS customer.  Verizon installed the FIOS interface for my home phones at no charge, and it's a simple matter to switch internet and TV to FIOS, now that the fiber optic interface box is attached to the house.  Comcast, the clock is ticking.
