As you can see from my emoticon, I am not a very happy customer right now.
So, this is what's going on and I was curious to know if anyone else has had the same problem as I am with my phone. We have had service with Comcast/Xfinity for TV, Internet, and Voice/phone since October 21, 2011. Until this date we were not using a home phone, just our cell phones, so I continued to use my cell phone out of habit. When I did finally say to myself "Oh, I have a house phone, let me use it", I would go pick it up only to find that I did not have a phone line. I didn't even notice the phone wasn't working until a friend called and told me that my phone was "no longer in service" I can't even begin to tell anyone how long the phone line was not working. I then called Comcast and the issue was resolved. Well, again, I am still using my cell phone out of habit and remember to use my house phone, and to my surprise, no phone line again! I have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old both boys and I stay very busy so the phone issue wasn't a big deal so I never called to see what was going on. Well, after this long of having no phone I guarantee 95% of the time since October 2011, I am starting to think, well goodness, my husband & I are paying for this service and it is never working. The last time I talked to someone at Comcast was July 7, 2012. I called because I couldn't get my husband on his cell phone so I called my home phone and an entire different Comcast customer had my phone number. Well the lady I spoke to on the 7th was very nice, and confused. They did get my phone line back on on the 9th. I noticed again around the 11th my phone said "no line" and I called Comcast again and the CSR said he can see the phone was fixed on the 9th and something happened (no one know what) on the 10th, causing us to once more not have a phone line and haven't had one since. I haven't even heard back from anyone. I was curious to know what they did about the other customer that had the same phone number as me, did they make them change their number, just weird. But I honestly believe we deserve a good little amount of some sort of credit or refund for paying for a phone we never were able to use. I'm not one to complain to get free meals and discounts, etc but this is just ridiculous.
Sorry so long, my first time posing on a "forum" don't know anything about them but I wanted to see if any other customers have had this problem and I wanted those in billing at Comast to see this as well.
Thanks for your time and have a great night!
