I had an appt scheduled for Monday, 8/30 to have a tech come out between 5pm and 7pm to hook up digital cable. I'm upgrading from basic cable. One never showed up. I called a few minutes after 7 to see where the tech was and was told someone from dispatch would call me back within 30 minutes to let me know when one would show. No one ever called.
I called back Tuesday morning to complain and speak with a manager. I called at 9:30am, " the manager is talking to another customer. She'll call you back." I called back at 11:30am, "the manager is in a meeting. She will call you back." I called back at 3pm, "the manager is still in a meeting. She will call back. They always calls customers back." I was told that when I expressed my concern that I would not be called back. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!! It is now Thursday.
My appt is rescheduled for this Saturday morning between 8am and 10am, but you better believe, if no one shows up, I am taking my business elsewhere.
Horrible customer service. Comcast guarantee my foot! Horrible manager, too!
Also, a few days before July 4th, I tried to order 2 dta converters. Was told it wasn't going through, a ticket would be placed and I'd receive a call within 72 hours. NEVER GOT A CALL BACK! Didn't get the 2 dta converters either.

Bootsie, I suggest you do the following.
Sign in to Customer Central with the PRIMARY account user name and password.
Once signed in just under HELLO your name is Manage your scheduled appointments.
Click the word Manage. If your appointment is listed TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF THE PAGE AND SAVE IT TO YOUR COMPUTER. If Comcast fails to show up you have PROOF that it was set up and can use it to demand your $20 no show credit.
Be aware that the tech will call you to confirm that you are home. ANSWER your phone so you can confirm.
