Please don't tell me to be a good citizen and turn them in. Comcast has done nothing for me but over charge for a terrible channel line up.
I buy storage lockers and find cable boxes all the time. I can't use them and I can't sell them. By law I am in possession of the equipment legally but I don't know what to do with it.
My only options are to trash them or recycle them as ewaste. I have no incentive to turn this equipment in and it is just in my way.
I was wondering if Comcast would give me a 'finders fee' for turning in this equipment? Some of these boxes are expensive DVR's.

Do the moral thing anyway ... TURN THE BOXES IN.
Sure, you "own" them by buying the storage lockers of people who probably couldn't afford the rental fees but is doing the wrong thing (e.g. trying to get a finder's fee off someone else's misfortune) the way to go?
I hope you feel the same way if you lose your wallet and the person who finds it decides to keep it.

Do know too, that many times stolen Comcast equipment is sold on sites like Ebay, etc. IF the Comcast is owned by Comcast, Comcast will not activate the equipment. This also applies to equipment purchased out of the country. So- it won't do anyone any good, might as well turn it in and see what happens.

Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.
