when i need tech support, i want efficient professional help. i am not contacting you to be social. if i have an open ticket, my info and my problem are in your system, i shouldn't have to repeat it.
if i use live chat, the rep spends 10 mins on pleasantries and comcast sales pitches, before even attempting to solve my problem. ditto if i receive an email from a tech rep.
if i contact support by phone, there's less pleasantries and ads, but after holding for 15 mins or more, then explaining everything to the rep, i'm told someone else will contact me in 24-48 hrs.
the worst was when the rep said she needed to re-map something at your end regarding HD videos but she couldn't help because one of your apps was down and for me to call the next day. when i called and waited and waited, i told the rep i couldn't hear him well and he said "call back" and HE HUNG UP ON ME! when i finally reached someone i began by stating my ticket number and that i needed re-mapping.
yet he had me provide all my info and explain my problem AND then tells me he cannot do mapping and someone will call me in 24-48 hrs. why did he waste my time???
