Can anyone walk me through why videos will not play from the Comcast Website, via the "Fan" or otherise, it keeps prompting me to install Adobe Flash Player 9.0 which I've done but it still won't work properly. Any suggestions???
Hate to tell you this but even after you do get it to work. You will be inundated with advertising. They eve interupt what you are watching for a 15 second commercial right in the middle of a video clip. Plus the fact that the sound doesn't match up with the peoples lips, and the clip stops running so buffering can catch up. I have found Comcast to be slower than the DSL that I had. I am going back to AT&T.
If you are using an ad or banner blocker you need to set it up to allow content from lightningcast.net - that was my experience with anti-banner in KIS 6 & 7 anyway.
I am having the same problem, if you have vista in stalled more than likely that is the problem. it seems that flashplayer and vista do not like each orther . I was working with the vista people and the almost wrecked my operating system the have no explanaation for the conflect
