I get this message when trying to access email, even though I've already logged in. It prompts me to log in again, which I do. Then I click on 'Email", and I get this same message again.
I've seen this same problem posted on this forum other times, but I've not seen an answer posted.
Problem has happened with Internet Explorer, and with Firefox. I've cleared cache, closed and opened browser. Problem has happened on two separate computers, each running Windows XP SP3. My Comcast High-Speed Internet was installed about two weeks ago.
Why am I getting this message?

That's something we'll need to fix in the back end system. I'll send you a private message for more information.

I'm having this exact same issue.

This will need to fixed by Comcast. I have notified the Administrator. watch for a reply- OR you can send a Private Message to ComcastLarry. To send a PM, click on the small white envelope at the top of the page.
When you receive a PM- the envelope turns from white to yellow.

What do you use for email if not Comcast's Smartzone or XfinityConnect? Please provide more details.

Your account needs fixing. Contact CCMikeH...look for his post early in this thread. Click his name, then look at the option you'll see on the right to send him a PM, he'll need info on the account name from you.

Actually, first I would advise users to call 800-COMCAST to straighten it out there. Most likely they can fix the discrepancy in your account that is causing this error message.
If that doesn't work you can send me a private message and I'll dig deeper into the issue.

Same for past few days, can not access from web site. Family member traveling and can not get emails. Neither a PC or Mac works
08-11-2011 02:12 PM
I am signed so why does it say visitor
08-11-2011 02:14 PM - edited 08-11-2011 02:15 PM
"Visitor" here is just an indication of the fact that you are relatively new around the forums (based on number of posts). It would change the longer you stay and post.
As Mike indicated, call Comcast and tell them if that's the message you are getting.

I've never encountered this problem before. I have an email address and password but when I attempt to open my email I get: "Access requires Comcast High-Speed Internet"

I am getting this same message, was a solution ever found?

Call Comcast and tell them what is happening. It may be a billing problem. This is a customer-to-customer help forum, and we can't see your account information.

Hi,
I need help with that too. Whenever I try to log into my email it won't let me access my emails. There is a message that says "Access requires Comcast High-Speed Internet." Which I think I do have. Can you please help me out? I can't access my email so I won't be able to get anything you guys send me by email.
Thanks

You will have to call 1-800-COMCAST. This is primarily a customer-to-customer help forum and we have no access to your account. The error message that you are receiving indicates something that needs to be fixed on your account.

I'm getting this message now. When I called Comcast they said there was an outage in my area-which didn't make sense since this is my phone. Also Comcast said that I have the Secondary Account and only Primay Account can use the Mobile App. Really? What is the point of having multiple accounts? Why would this just happen all of a sudden?

I had the same problem. I called and talked with Nate here in Minnesota Tec support for Comcast. Told him and in no less than a minute While still trying to explain the problem, he had it fixed. Seems the email address went inactive for some strange whatever. But all is well now. Call 1+800-Comast (266-2278). Great Job! Thanks Nate...

Having same problem as in this topic. Tried to PM you but said your account didn't accept PM's?
09-15-2012 12:47 PM
Users can set their Forum settings to block receiving Private Messages.
If you are gettingthe same error message, call 1-800 Comcast and tell them the error message you are getting. It is a coding issue that the rep can fix.
