Re: Attachments

Are you using an email client or Xfinity Connect (webmail)?

What happens when you try and attach a file - do you get any errors?

What type of file and how big is it?

Re: Attachments

Mine is doing that very same thing with a somewhat similar message. This problem just started recently. I tried both my MAC (Snow Leopard)  and My PC (Windows 7) and the same problem comes up. This is a Comcast/Xfinity problem that they need to fix. In the meantime, if you have another mailbox that you can use I would use that other mailbox. That is the very thing that I did and those boxes are functioning just fine.

Re: Attachments

The OP posted a very generic post that didn't have a lot of information.  I'm not sure what you mean when you say you have a similar message.  Can you answer the questions I posted above?

Check your pop up blocker, it may be seeing the attachment as a pop up.

If you are using the Internet Explorer pop up blocker included with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3
these instructions work with IE6, IE7 and IE8.

Go to Tools at the top of this page.

Internet Options/Privacy tab.

Click on Settings in Pop-up Blocker.

Add the following to the Allow line:

*.mail.comcast.net

Close out Internet Options.

See if the attachment gets attached.

If you use a different blocker just look on the bottom of the page to see if you get a notification that one has been blocked when you click on the message. If you do, you can usually click the notification icon and will be able to allow pop ups from *.mail.comcast.net

Post back with the name of the one you use if you can't figure it out, and someone will help you.

If you don't use IE post what browser you do use.
