Cannot connect to mail Server

Using Outlook and Outlook express I cannot connect to the mail server. "Account; 'mail.comcast.net', POP3 Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Error Number: 0x800ccc0e"

I hate webmail help please!

0X800CCC0E error would indicate:

that the port is blocked ( firewall software / hardware setting )
program is blocked ( firewall software )

Seeings how your specific error is caused by POP server and that uses port 110, go into your account properties, enable SSL and change port to 995

I am having the same problem, except my options have "enable SSL". How do I change the port?

If you check "Enabled SSL" the port on the POP3 server changes automatically to 995. On the SMTP connection it stays at 25, but you can manually changed it to 465. Only use 465 when SSL is enabled for SMTP, non-SSL connections on 465 won't work.
