I cannot get into webmail via Blackberry. I get to the log-in page and enter user name and password on my phone, but it does not accept it. However, when I do it on my laptop, there is no problem.
Any advice?

Hello,
What type of blackberry do you have? Does the error message say username and password does not match?
06-29-2012 01:25 PM
I'm using a Blackberry Curve 8310. Up until yesterday everything worked fine and since I had logged in some time ago, it hasn't asked me to log in again. However, today it is asking me to log in to xfinity. When I do and hit the "sign in" button, it then comes back up with the log in window and my info erased but does not say username and password does not match?

Recently, I can no longer get into my Comcast email through my Blackberry Curve (I'm not using the mobile app, just the BB browser). Comcast asks for my username and password, which I enter, but when I hit Sign-In, it refreshes and wipes out my entries. When I use the same username and password on my laptop, there is no problem getting in.
Any suggestions?

I notified the Administrator of your problem. Watch for a reply by one of the Moderators. If you don't hear back by late Monday, post that so we can check for you. Since it is the weekend, you might not hear anything until Monday.

Thanks. I also posted on the Mobile Apps forum.

gmezzo, I've merged your thread in Xfinity Connect Mobile App with this one. Please do not post the same issue in different places. It is much easier for us to help you if everything concerning the same issue is in the same place. It can get confusing for everyone when you have to go back and forth to different threads.

I too have not been able to log into my email through the web browser on my bb (company phone will not allow app download). This started a week ago. Numerous postings here, on-line technical support, and actually talking with a Comcast rep (who opened a case number) has gotten nowhere in resolving the issue.

Hello Gemezzo,
I am having the same issue as you login have you ever got the problem resolved?

Nope. Not only has it not been resolved, I don't even get any suggestions here nor a callback from Tech Support. Fabulous customer service!!

Hello,
I been trying to get this issue resolved for month now and I am also getting the run around. First they tell me to contact the security dept. because they that it was a authentication problem which it cant be because I can login using my computer. Then they tell me it is a rendering and or redirection problem. They also told me that they have not got any complaints about login problems with blackberry users and they have lots of people in there office that use blackberry and can login.
My main problem is when I login to anything with my comcast username and password on my blackberry 9900 if it is wifi or not I always get the username and password does not match. Even you try to reset your password and go through all that security jazz it will let you in and your good to go but if you logout you are back to square one again.
Are your problems similiar to mine or are they different? I have been dealing with comcastjordan a lot on the issue so if you are have login problems I would suggest you send a pm to him. The more people having this issue the better we can get this fixed.

Hello,
Yes and also to any site that requires a comcast username and password for my bold 9900. I have been pm you for a long time and asking a fix for this since April 10 and still nothing resolved. When can we get this resolved once and for all.

Hello,
So what is the story can we get this problem resolved.
08-18-2012 12:37 AM
Hello, seems I have the same problem, and this is new, for the longest time (year at least) I was able to log in to my comcast billing account and pay my bill using the browser on my Blackberry Bold-just as I would on my desktop or laptop. Now, this is impossible. As soon as I enter my username and password, the page refreshes and wipes out my entries. Very frustrating! Is there a fix available for this??

No and comcast will tell you it's a blackbery issue and you need to download the comcast app. However, about 2 months after I lost the ability to log in with my bb, I suddenly was able to. This lasted about 2 weeks and then went away again. I've resolve to fowarding all my comcast email to a gmail account so that when I'm not at my computer, I can at least see the email that is coming in and respond by text or phone. Good luck...you won't get much help with comcast tech support on this issue.

Hi and thanks for the reply. Even though there doesn't appear to be a solution, it's helpful to know what others have tried. I was told the same thing, btw, to download the comcast app, which I did, but it does not allow me to log in to my account, very strange. I'll certainly report on it if I find something that works, but my hopes are not high, unfortunately.
