Re: Comcast internet

No, but you may find that a basic TV + internet plan costs about the same, or even a bit less than, an internet-only plan. Check with a Comcast sales rep http://www.comcast.com/Corporate/Customers/contactus/ContactUs.html or stop in at a Service Center http://www.comcast.com/Corporate/shop/retail/StoreLocator.html.

Re: Comcast internet

No. Cable internet does not use phone lines.

Comcast employees must be authorized to post in the forum in an official capacity. Employees posting here have their names in red and are designated as employees. Names not in red are customers.

This is done to protect customers and for assurance that they are dealing with a Comcast employee.
Non-Authorized Employees are allowed to post but cannot state they are employees nor can they allude to being employees.

Re: Comcast internet

I have both XFINITY Internet and XFINITY Voice. My other computes have ethernet ports so I can hook up to internet cable modem; except the old one without ethernet port, but has the telephone port. Can I hook up telephone line to this telephone port to run internet on it? If yes, do I need to set up anything?
