Continuous error message

I have gotten an error message when trying to retrieve/send email since 9:30 a.m. today. 
 The error message I'm getting is:

 

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid username/password', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Have you tried removing your password, and typing it in again?

Which e-mail client are you using?

Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

Are you able to login to comcast.net and/or SmartZone using the same credentials (user name and password)? Did you try re-entering this information into your email client? Have you made any other changes to your computer recently (software updates, security or anti-virus, etc.)?
