Yesterday, in attempting to send email to a few people that have a yahoo.com email address, I started getting delayed delivery messages:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients is still underway after 8.1 hour(s):
* **********@yahoo.com
Will keep trying and contact you if the message can't be delivered permanently.
These messages were sent from Thunderbird and SmartZone. I tried both once I started
getting the messages. There were 12 of these messages in my inbox this morning. Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same thing....have tried to e-mail a family member at his Yahoo address. Everything has bounced back for several days. I've been lucky and never had e-mail issues before..don't really have a clue![]()
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

OK, I sent two test emails from my CC account to my Yahoo account, one from SmartZone, the other from Outlook. Both were sent within a few minutes of each other this morning at around 9am...The headers indicate that email was received by the Yahoo mail system within a few seconds....but I am not sure when I received it in my Yahoo Inbox. It was at least a couple of hours later that it still wasn't there.
The email I sent from SmartZone, I still have not received.

Yahoo has cleared the issue on their side. New messages destined for Yahoo addresses should not have any delay in being delivered. We are currently working on the backlog of messages this issue caused so older messages will be delivered soon.

I'm having the same issue. This is not something trivial that we can wait around to have resolved. I, like I'm sure many Comcast users, work out of my home office and use my Comcast email as a primary business email account. I sent 55 emails to clients yesterday and only the 9 that went to client Yahoo accounts went undeliverd (still not delivered as of this morning). That is unacceptible! This is not the first time that Comcast has had issues with other company's servers and been unable to deliver the email.

This is not a Comcast issue - it is a Yahoo issue. Comcast is working with Yahoo in order to expedite things on behalf of their (Comcast's) customers.

JR is correct, this is not an issue of Comcast servers having an issue with Yahoo servers or the other way around. This is a case of Yahoo servers having a capacity issue accepting mail from around the world. They are very close to resolving it and when they do we'll be working closely with them to get our your backlogged mail out as quickly as we can.
Thank you for the patience.
