Disable computer to remember password

My computer at work automatically remembers my password. I am going to be gone for 4-6 weeks so I want to disable this feature. I don't really want to change my password but I will if I have to. When I go on the sign in, the box that says "remember me on this computer" is NOT checked...but the ******** appear where my password was first entered and it allows access to anyone who would sign in.

Try hitting the Sign Out button, then login again, without checking the "remember me" button.

Clear the forms and passwords being saved by your browser.

Exactly.  In IE7, choose Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History, Delete, Delete Forms and Delete Passwords.  I don't remember where that's buried in IE6, if that's what you're running.

For IE6:  Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/AutoComplete is how to get there.
