The new layout will not allow me to use Email Filters or Signatures. I can delete old existing filters and signatures, but I cannot create new ones or edit them. I cannot Run a filter or re-order the filters.
I am using Windows7 and have tried browsers, IE9, FireFox13.0 and FireFox3.68.
Can anyone help me?

Make sure you have Javascript enabled in your browser.

It is has been enabled all along. Should I disable Norton and the pop-up blocker? I think this is a problem between Comcast and Microsoft being incompatible. I cannot go back to XP from Windows7. I wish there was some kind of system message that could point to where the problem is. When clicking the Add filter, or the edit button just nothing happens so there is no clue. As far a re-ordering there is not even that option shown anymore. I imagine if it works for some people, maybe is is a drag up and down function now.
Signatures and Filters are so useful, why would they have a problem with making it work in current PC systems. Is Windows7 and IE9 on a Toshiba notebook that out of the ordinary?

I don't see the option to reorder filters, either. I'm on a Mac using the Chrome browser. So I think they simply left out that feature when they redesigned the preferences.

You're not alone in your problems. See
for someone else having problems editing filters, I think they're also using Windows 7. And see
for a thread about the loss of ability to reorder filters.

This problem is obviously not going to concern Comcast when only two of us are complaining about it.
I would have thought more people used signatures and filters to make email an better tool. I wonder what other Xfinity Connect features have suddenly gotten "lost" or "stopped" working?
Glad I don't do anything Comcast on a cell!

I'm having the same problem not being able to edit filters or add a new filter. It was working a couple of days ago. I've tried yesterday and today. Using WinXP.

Filters are working again for me this morning.

Same here. The Preferences tab allows me to bring up a list of active filters and that list shows a pencil icon for each, but it is inactive. Lovely. If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT! I purely hate "new and improved" layouts. I am in the final stages of cutting out xfinity tv and phone----------now I think I'll use my yahoo email for primary.

i'm with you...i have been trying so many different ways to try to get a signature on my e-mail but nothing helps...the worst thing is when you click on the "add" button under signature in email preferences and nothing happens.

Which version of XfinityConnect do you use, full or lite? To check: Open XC, click on Preferences>General. Which version is checked?
When you click on Add, don't you get this window?
