What page are you on when you get that error? What link(s) or icon(s) do you click on that produce that error?

I have the same problem, plus one more: "White space is not allowed at the top of the document" occurs when I attempt to "view inbox" and "Invalid at the top of the document" occurs when i attempt to open indivual messages. After a few "send error report," MS Internet Explorer crashes. I can't find any support information at Comcast's website.
Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated!

Since no one else has mentioned it--------try clearing out your browsing history, cache and cookies in IE. Then re-start IE. See if that has any effect on the problem. If not, try using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome and see if you can duplicate the problem. Corrupted, conflicting or expired cookies can cause a lot of weird problems.
Are you using any add-ons or plug-ins in IE? Maybe a Theme? You might try disabling them one at a time, then try signing in to your email again after each one. That would at least eliminate any of them as the source of the trouble. Extensions to your browser are not usually vetted by the browser developers. So third party add-ons etc can cause unexpected problems too.

I cleaned out the entire browsing history, deleted all cookies, installed any updates, removed and re-installed Internet Explorer and the problem persisted. It got to where IE would crash when I tried to open email. So I installed Firefox and life has been fine ever since. It's a MicroSoft issue and you know they won't worry about it - they'll just sell you a new problem.

I'm glad it worked for you. I use Firefox as my regular browser in both Mac and Windows.
