I've seen others have the same issue and I'm aware that Neopets and Comcast have had issues communicating however, I have been trying to get through for a week and have yet to get a Neopets email mailed to my comcast address. There are blocks on the emails causes them to bounce back. I cannot change my email address attached to the account nor use many of the sites features without the ability to communicate with email. Please help me figure this out and remove the blocks!! Thanks

Alohameg: The issue should be resolved for now. Let us know if you don't begin getting emails again.

I apologize for being a bother but it's imparitive that this be resolved. I thank you for working on it!

Are these newsletters, or some other type of messages?

You need a PIN number to access parts of the website and they'll email it to you again if you've forgotten it as well as to change the email address attached to the account.

Okay, I see what's going on. They're trying to send messages incorrectly. I'll have to see if I can find someone there to contact. It seems like they ignore the error messages our systems give theirs.

Hi, just thought I'd chime in on this issue as I've had the same problem. The Neopets emails that are bouncing or otherwise not getting delivered are the Neopets automatically-generated emails. So any time a Neopets user requests their "lost password" or "lost PIN" an email is auto-genned and sent to the email address on file. Those emails are NOT getting through to comcast.net addresses. Also at issue is the new account activation code email, which is also not getting delivered. Too bad for new users.
Neopets emails that are advertisements, or emails directly from Neopet's "support" staff (I use the term loosely here) are getting delivered. I've used the Neopets web support form to explain this bug, however the answer I received from Neopets support is that the problem is not a bug on their site, but something Comcast has done. I have quoted their response almost word for word. Not that I believe a word they say ![]()

Yes, I had attempted to contact them, but received no response from them. I can reach out to them again, but it seems they either don't understand why it's a problem or don't care. I wish I had a direct phone number to their email staff. The ticket system at NeoPets asks for a username, which I don't have, so it may not work properly if you don't have a valid account. Anyway, I'll reach out to them again and see if they respond this time. Thanks for hanging in there with us.

It might be helpful to use the account activation angle. With those emails not getting delivered, no comcast user can activate a new account on Neopets. That's cutting off a lot of potential customers for them, so maybe someone over there has enough insight to realize that is bad for them and get it fixed. Thanks for looking into this issue. Again lol.

Yes, that's what I've contacted them about. They're sending messages from <random>@mailout.neopets.com.
$ host mailout.neopets.com
Host mailout.neopets.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
This is a problem. I sent them another email, and used the webform again. No answer from them as of yet. Their email system should see why the messages aren't going through, and they should be able to understand what they need to do to fix the issue.
