I have multiple Comcast/Xfinity e-mail accounts....How do I export and import (or share) an address book from one account with another?

It actually depends on which version of XfinityConnect you are using.  To see which one (if you don't know) Open Xc and click on Preferences.  You will see this below, which one is ticked?  Once we know which one you are using we can provide the correct directions for you.

You are going to be exporting the address book contacts as a csv file and will be saving that file somewhere you can locate it easily.

Open XfinityConnect and click on Address Book tab

You will see blue link, click on EXPORT ALL

A new window opens.  Disregard the choices in the drop- down menu and click on EXPORT

A new window opens as shown below:

Choose 'SAVE AS'

A window opens:  You want to save the file where you can locate it easily.  Note this is a Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Value file. (CSV file)  i save files like this right on my desktop for easy finding later.

Once you have the csv file saved, you will need to import it into EACH Usernames address book.

How to IMPORT to address book:

There is an issue with the XfinityConnect FULL version when importing the csv file, so it is best to first switch to the LITE version, and do the import from the Lite version

Switch to the Lite version (Peeferences>General, Tick Lite, then click on SAVE at the top of the page to save the change.

Click on the Home tab at the top of the page

You should now be in the Lite version

Click on address book

On the left side, click on EDIT

A new window opens:

Browse to where you have saved the CSV file

Highlight it and click on Open

Click on IMPORT

Repeat for each Username (email address)

After you are done, you can switch back to the FULL version of XfinityConnect.

I realize this sounds quite involved, but it really is not.  just follow it step by step.  You can print out this post too, by clicking on OPTIONS on the right side of the post, click on 'PRINT'. Then use File>Print to print it from your browser.

If you need more help, do post back.

Export should now be fixed in XFINITY Connect Full version - please try it out and report if you have any other issues. Sorry for the inconvenience!
