Looks like, since about midnight, my email has not been working at all. My husband is on a business trip in NYC and is freaking out as he needs important communications.
Please look into this problem immediately.
Why is this not posted on your main page with an update on what you are doing to fix it?

Disappointing Comcast knows there is a problem but is not posting the status . Looks like email has been down for 8 hrs plus but no update as to what the issue is and what is the anticipated repair time .
This would save some unnecessary aggravation on everybody's part

We are having some issues with a few mail servers right now. We expect to have these issues fixed in the next hour or so. I apologize for this inconvenience.

My e-mail has been down since 5:00 this morning. Once again Comcast service is suspect on e-mail. It is pretty frustrating when I cannot access e-mail for hours.

No e mails since early morning. Despite the posting that it will be up and running in one hour posted around 7 am no further update posted.
Wonder when it will be fixed and would appreciate periodic updates.

I just spoke to someone at Comcast and told them that when I try to get into my email it comes up login to ZIMBRA and his response was UHOH!!! Is this scary or what? He could not give me an answer except for they are working on it.

Email has been down since at least noon yesterday. Of the four user logins I monitor, only 1 is getting through. I'm not getting any error messages other than server has not responded within 60 seconds.

We have an issue on some mail servers that started around 3am ET March 27. We are working on those servers now to get them back up, but it's taking longer than anticipated.
If you have been having issues since yesterday at noon, those would not be related to this outage. Please create a new thread and post back as much details about your issue so that can be worked on seperately.

I have had no email since 7:00 AM ,Tuesday, March 27th. When I attempted to access OUTLOOK it just kept searching and searching. When I did finally get to my OUTLOOK mailbox (without mail) my unread messages mailbox had 3500 messages in it from MSN something or other. I still cannot access my email, either from home or off site via the web. This is ridiculous!! We pay top dollar for this access and now we aren't even notified on the website of an issue. I'll be calling the Public Utilities Commission on this one. My service location is in Egg Harbor Township NJ.

It looks like it is back up at the moment. Some normal, daily emails I get from newspapers, etc. have not come through today. I wonder what other mail I may be missing from this outage.

We have brought the mail servers back online, however due to the outage, there may be a lot of backed up messages in queue that will take some time to flush out. Hopefully this should be resolved fairly quickly.

Any update on this? It is not showing as a service disruption but have been unable to access email for 4+ hours.

I totally "AGREE" 100% on this one! I can't read my Emails now also! It seems to happen when the "most" Important ones are there to read too! OMG! Come on COMCAST! Get your act together or you'll probably find more of us dropping you and then you'll lose tons of $.. The Economy is hard as if you don't know and it's getting harder anyhow for people to keep cable TV, Internet, or Phone. Now get to work! lol!

Please let me know if you are still having issues logging in. Please describe the errors if any you are getting and the behaviors that you are seeing.
Please make sure to first clear cache, cookies, and temporary internet files before rechecking, as some of our own test accounts had to do this to resolve some warnings following the outage.
Here are some good step-by-step instructions on how to do that
