Now I am concerned

I decided to find the deeply buried part where I can email Comcast.

My question to them was:

I wish to discontinue Direct TV and switch to Comcast. I can't figure out which package to get (we have phone & internet with Comcast). We also want to make sure you have the channels that Direct TV has dropped. I also want to see if you can set up my Apple Air Port Extreme to work with my Mac Book Pro as my Comcast email through Apple email is not wring (it is working via Safari but I want to keep my email services -Comcast-AOL-Yahoo-Gmail- going through the Apple deal. Thanks

There response was:

We apologize for the inconvenience, we are currently experiencing a higher number of chats than usual, please try again later.

Maybe I should bundle my Phone & Internet to Direct TV after an experience like this?

You need to call Comcast at 1-800-COMCAST and discuss your options with them.  This forum is support for email.  And, since this is primarily a customer-to-customer forum there isn't anything we can help you do with your services.

Pricing varies across the country. That is why the best way to get the correct information is to call.

Re: Now I am concerned

You shouldn't need to do anything to the Airport Extreme to make email work. If you can connect to the Internet through the AE, you should be able to configure mail. See Managing your Email in Mac OSX  for the proper way to configure mail on the Mac Book Pro.

Comcast tech support generally won't help you with configuring non-Comcast routers.
