I use Outlook 2011 for Mac and Comcast says I need to switch my Outgoing port from 25 to 465. When I do this I can no longer receive email. I did the on-line chat thing with Comcast and their solution is to dump Outlook and move to MacMail. Are there solutions that would allow me to continue to use Outlook as my email client on the Mac for Comcast?

Look at this thread that has pictures. You can stick with Outlook, but be sure you get the SSL part right and click on More Options to see all the settings.
