I am having the same problem... I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and this problem is happening since I have been using a wireless connection away from home. I moved my email to iCloud and this should not be a problem. Things are working fine on my iPhone which is running the most up to date OS.
Where do I find which settings I should be using in Mail?

Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

I have this problem as well . It just started happening on my laptop > I use this the most and when I click to open the inbox it goes white screen and never opens my mail. My account with comcast said I can hook up to them and they can fix it for me but I have to pay the Poopheads more money . They take all i got already from me now with all the charges they put on me . Heck my light bill is cheaper then this bunch of thieves I think I should go to satellite . Can anyone direct me to solving this bad setting I have on my comcast mail . I get it from any computer but mine ! I click on a mail and i cant even get that one mail to open !
