Hi. I've been receiving spam from people in my contacts list who have not been sending them. Their accounts seem not to have been hacked and no one else is getting spam from them. It seems like someone may have hacked my address book and is sending me spam from my contacts. The reply to address is different each time and not the same as the sent by address.
Any suggestions?

Do you see the Sent messages in your Sent Folder? Immediately change your password. A strong password should consist of upper & lower case letters, some numbers, and some characters. (max length is 16 characters)
Never use the same password on multiple sites

Thanks for the quick response. The messages are not in my sent folder. I will change my password, but I'm not sure what's happening or if that will help if the messages are not in my sent folder.

Remember that spammers can put any email address in the From field of an email.
Think about when you address an envelope... If you choose to make the return address someone else's home address, the post office will still send the letter.
Spammers harvest email addresses from many sources, they buy lists of email addresses as well. Usually in a few days they will move on to another email address.
